How Foster Landscaping Got its Start

The Foster family has deep Entrepreneurial roots. From the Foster’s department store to a New York Life Insurance agency many years ago to Fixit Foster, our family has been serving the Johnstown community for generations. That’s why it’s no surprise that our founder Ethan Foster got a fast start in the landscaping business about 5 years ago. He started out mowing lawns in the Westmont neighborhood he grew up in and that quickly turned in to a small crew maintaining lawns across Westmont, Southmont, Geistown and Richland.  

Over the last 2 years we have expanded from mowing and lawn maintenance into full service landscaping including everything from the original landscape design concept, to landscape installations and full service maintenance.  

We look forward to serving the greater Johnstown area providing a high level of customer service and integrity for decades to come.
